Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring Dishwashers to maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish area and support kitchen operations. The role supports food service by washing, sanitizing, and securing all dishware, cookware, and utensils, enabling smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and how to use them properly.
• Ability to work around warm to very warm kitchen temperatures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain kitchen areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
