Job summary

Thirsty Turtle Seagrill is seeking a dependable dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen in West Palm Beach, FL. This role focuses on keeping dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas spotless while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will work as part of a team to support a high-volume restaurant operation. Responsibilities include manual and machine cleaning, stock replenishment, minor food prep, and trash disposal.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Prior experience in the hospitality/food industry helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils by manual and machine cleaning methods.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Complete any minor food prep items assigned to you, such as cutting lemons, portioning pasta, etc.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Empty fry oil and clean fryers.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Maintain sparkling clean restrooms and grounds.
