Job summary

Thirsty Turtle Seagrill in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a part-time dishwasher. You will ensure guests and team members have a spotless, safe environment by cleaning dishes, tableware, glassware, pots and utensils in a high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities include loading and running the dish machine, hand washing, trash disposal, basic food prep, maintaining clean kitchen areas and restrooms, and assisting with sidework as needed. A reliable, team-focused mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils by manual and machine cleaning methods.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Complete any minor food prep items assigned to you, such as cutting lemons, portioning pasta, etc.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Empty fry oil and clean fryers.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Maintain sparkling clean restrooms and grounds.
