Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Albuquerque seeks a Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep to help create a great dining experience for our residents. You’ll prepare, stock, and maintain a fresh salad bar and support the dining room with friendly service.

You’ll safely wash and sanitize tableware, assist in daily food prep, and help keep the dish room organized while meeting hygiene standards and following leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work Friday & Saturday 7:00am–2:30pm and Sunday & Monday 11:00am–7:30pm.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• No prior culinary experience is required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within first two weeks of first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine by loading, running, unloading, and reporting any mechanical issues; monitor water temperatures for sanitization.
• Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware; maintain a clean dish room and ensure adequate levels of clean items.
• Clean food prep and production areas as needed, assist in the dining room by bussing tables, filling water carafes, and delivering room-service orders.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and kitchen tools, including sharp utensils and small appliances to support daily food preparation.
• Listen and respond politely to food comments or complaints and report concerns to leadership.
• Perform support work and any additional tasks, including trash removal.
