Job summary

Sable Lodge Retirement Community is seeking a Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep to support residents' dining experience. You will prepare, stock, and maintain a fresh salad bar and assist in dining room with service and table maintenance.

You will operate dish machines, keep the dish room clean, and safely use ovens and small equipment. The role requires basic English, 18+ years old, and permits within two weeks of starting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work a consistent schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• No previous culinary experience required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within two weeks of start.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and monitor sanitization.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Clean food prep areas and assist in dining room.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and small appliances.
• Respond politely to feedback and report concerns.
• Perform support tasks including trash removal.
