Job Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and the storage and rotation of food and supplies. The role also involves janitorial duties in dining service areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro, ensuring all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and standards, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and work in confined spaces
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
