Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly dishwasher to join our New Orleans kitchen team. You will wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, keeping the dish room clean and organized throughout your shift.

The position is ideal for individuals seeking daytime hours, with opportunities for growth and pay increases as part of our Brunch-focused operation. Medical and Dental benefits and Paid Time Off are available.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience needed.
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine; keep the dish machine clean and report any problems.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
