Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a dishwashing team member in New Orleans to maintain cleanliness of tableware and cooking equipment. You will be responsible for washing, loading and unloading dish machines, and keeping the dish room organized.

Experience isn’t required; you’ll work in a fast-paced, hot, humid kitchen environment and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Daily shifts are available with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience required.
• Able to work in a hot, wet, loud environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
• Load, run, and unload dish machine.
• Report any functional or mechanical problems and maintain all safety standards.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
