Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated dishwashing team member for our brunch concept. You will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keep the dish room organized to support a fast-paced kitchen.

We welcome individuals with or without restaurant experience. This role involves standing for long periods, working in a hot and noisy environment, and lifting up to 50 lbs, with opportunities for growth and steady day shifts.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience needed
• Able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand for long periods up to 10 hours

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
• Load, run, and unload dish machine
• Report any functional or mechanical problems and maintain safety standards

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
