• Experience supporting investigations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Counsels managers on documentation of substandard performance or behavior.
• Reviews disciplinary letters and suggests changes.
• Consults with legal staff as needed.
• Conducts complex investigations and prepares removal letters.
• Prepares suspension letters and monitors leave entries in LaGov.
• Prepares Civil Service Appeals documentation and may witness hearings.
• Guides employees and management on grievance processes.
• Develops discipline training materials and conducts training.
