Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Hospital Liaison – Respiratory & DME Services in Gainesville, FL.

You will connect hospital staff with our home care services, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure timely equipment delivery and setup for patients requiring respiratory therapy and DME at home. The role involves collaborating with Case Management and Continuing Care teams, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting ongoing equipment needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check required for all applicants.
• Drug screen where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient discharges with hospital staff and home care teams.
• Ensure timely delivery and setup of respiratory and DME equipment at discharge.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation including referrals, insurance verification, and delivery tickets.
• Provide in-service training and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
