Job summary

Apex Class Action, LLC is seeking a Disbursement Coordinator to oversee the setup, funding, and distribution of settlement payments. You will work with Project Managers, Counsel, and administrative staff to ensure accurate processing and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of analyst experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with Word and Outlook. You will maintain bank accounts, reconcile daily activity, monitor fraud, and support project

Qualifications

• 1+ years of analyst experience and data accuracy/reconciliation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using a project tracking or task management tool.

Responsibilities

• Apply for EINs with the IRS.
• Coordinate with banking partners to open and maintain case-related accounts.
• Send funding confirmation emails to PM, PC, and Defense teams.
• Follow up on outstanding funding with PM, PC, and Defense teams.
• Request and confirm Class Representative addresses with Plaintiffs' Counsel.
• Obtain and verify attorney fee and cost splits with Plaintiffs' Counsel.
• Confirm banking instructions with Plaintiffs' Counsel before issuing payment.
• Reconcile negotiated checks daily and monitor for potential fraud.
• Maintain project management tools to track deadlines and tasks.
• Partner with PM team to ensure accurate distributions and resolve issues.
• Support reporting activities including Positive Pay, ACH and wire transfers.
