Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate, defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent work projects, evaluating damaged facilities and preparing cost analyses for various public infrastructure sectors.

Assignments may be remote, field-based, or hybrid depending on client needs and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating or related field.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through project scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating activities.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates for disaster recovery projects.
• Review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical estimating expertise to project managers and applicant representatives.
• Maintain project records and supporting documentation per client requirements.
