Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Cost Estimator to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent work, with responsibilities spanning scoping, cost validation, and documentation.

This on-call, as-needed role may be remote, field-based, or hybrid, depending on client needs and project requirements. Travel and field inspections may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in construction estimating or related field.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates.
• Develop labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor, and general conditions costs.
• Review engineering reports, plans, and contractor proposals.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
