Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency work, including scopes, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.

The role is on-call, with assignments that may be remote, field-based, or hybrid, depending on client needs and project requirements. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating or related discipline.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials and construction costs.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs with cost estimating.
• Perform project scoping, damage assessment, and cost validation.
• Prepare defensible cost estimates for infrastructure and facilities.
