Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Cost Estimators to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency projects, evaluating damaged facilities and supporting eligibility determinations.

This on-call cadre role may be remote, field-based, or hybrid based on client needs and project requirements. Travel to disaster sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction estimating, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates for infrastructure or facilities.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates.
• Review project documents and ensure costs are defensible and auditable.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and program staff to define eligible work.
