Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Case Manager to support individuals and families affected by disasters in their recovery journey. You will outreach to clients, assess needs, develop recovery plans, and connect clients with resources and services, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to program requirements.

The role requires flexibility for travel, with potential night/weekend work, and a strong commitment to compassionate, client-centered service.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services.
HS diploma or GED with 3 years relevant disaster case management experience required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Experience in child welfare, emergency disaster response, and recovery environments; team-based case planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Outreach to disaster-affected clients and complete eligibility assessments.
Conduct home and community visits to provide ongoing support.
Develop comprehensive recovery plans addressing unmet needs for clients.
Monitor progress and assess service effectiveness through follow-ups.
Assist clients in identifying and securing available benefits and community resources.
Maintain accurate case records and document progress in online systems.
Prepare reports and communicate caseload updates to supervisors.
