Under the Emergency Department Director, the role involves collaboration with leadership to develop and implement emergency procedures and risk assessments, while maintaining strong communication and accountability throughout

Qualifications

• Two or more years of progressively responsible experience utilizing ICS, NIMS, and EOC systems.
• Experience organizing events involving public safety and crowd management.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance & Policy Management: maintain regulatory expertise and develop compliant policies and plans.
• Environment of Care & Committee Involvement: active member of Environment of Care team and participate in disaster planning committees.
• Emergency Planning & Risk Assessment: conduct hazard vulnerability assessments and develop emergency procedures.
• Operations, Crisis Response & Communication: manage disaster response, alert systems, and communications metrics.
• Training, Education & Equipment Testing: drive response training and coordinate education programs and equipment testing.
• Data Tracking, Auditing, & Reporting: establish data tracking and audit quality metrics for regulatory reporting.
