Job summary

Jenkins Restorations in Phoenix is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform water and storm damage cleanup and provide excellent customer service to victims of disaster. This labor-intensive role requires on-call responsiveness and coordination with clients and insurance providers.

You will operate drying equipment, remove damaged building components, and work with Project Managers to restore properties while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and overtime when needed.
• Able to pass background check and drug screenings.
• Experience or training in mitigation preferred (IICRC WRT/ASD optional).

Responsibilities

• Cleans and dries out internal areas of damaged property.
• Removes drywall, pulls up flooring, and clears debris.
• Pumps water out and dries materials with equipment.
• Maintains communication with clients, insurance reps, and Project Manager.
• Responds to on-call requests 24x7 as scheduled.
