Job summary

Jenkins Restorations in Florida is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform water and storm damage cleanup and deliver exceptional service to disaster victims. This labor-intensive role requires a valid IICRC WRT or equivalent, on-call 24x7, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in challenging conditions.

You will communicate progress with clients, insurance reps and the Project Manager, follow safety rules, and support on-site mitigation tasks as part of a team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• IICRC WRT or equivalent certification required or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements, discounts, and area calculations.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English for reports and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Mitigation Technician cleans and dries out internal damaged areas.
• Identifies wet items with specialized equipment.
• Removes drywall and flooring as needed to access affected areas.
• Pumps water out with extraction equipment.
• Provides updates on job progress to clients, insurers, and Project Manager.
• Responds 24x7 as required and performs all other duties as assigned.
