Job summary

EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice in the US is seeking an experienced professional to help government and public sector clients recover funds following disasters. You will lead engagements, manage complex grant and stimulus programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA) and coordinate teams to ensure compliance and delivery.

The role requires strong project management, negotiation and communication skills, travel flexibility, and the ability to translate technical concepts for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 5+ years related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• CPA, CFE or CEM designation preferred.
• Disaster management experience in a professional services setting is a plus.
• Excellent project management and the ability to prioritize multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams serving government and public sector clients on disaster recovery funding compliance.
• Verify compliance across FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA programs and related transactions.
• Develop client relationships and manage interactions with local governments for project development.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure client needs are met and results are delivered on time.
• Collaborate with EY colleagues across services on business development initiatives.
