Job summary

EY is seeking a forensics insurance and federal claims services practice professional to support government and public sector clients in managing disaster recovery funding. The role involves processing complex grant and stimulus programs and coordinating with multiple stakeholders across agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business, emergency management or related field.
• 2+ years of related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• CPA/CEM/CFE designation or in progress.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when necessary.
• Driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage government and public sector compliance of disaster recovery funding (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR).
• Lead large projects for states and local governments and interact with client sites.
• Verify compliance and programmatic requirements; monitor federally funded projects.
