Job summary

EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services helps clients recover funds after disasters and complex events. You will work with engagement teams to manage compliance for FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, and ARPA programs and lead government-focused projects.

Travel to client sites and in-office presence are required, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality results and building trusted relationships across EY's solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 5+ years related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience, ideally with a government agency or professional services firm.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engagement teams to serve government and public sector clients on disaster recovery funding programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA).
• Lead large-scale projects with state/local governments and develop client relationships.
• Verify compliance requirements and supervise teams conducting monitoring of federally funded projects.
