Knowledge of construction materials, design applications, and relevant technical knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conducts site inspections to validate and record infrastructure damage, including photos, sketches, and damage descriptions.
Develops and reviews scopes of work and cost estimates with code and standard requirements.
Reviews and analyzes engineering reports, designs, and as-built plans.
Makes recommendations on claim eligibility.
Develops or evaluates hazard mitigation proposals and benefit-cost analyses.
Coordinates with applicants, facilitates meetings, and communicates final determinations.
