Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an assembly-focused associate to clean, prep, inspect, and quality-check core units. You will use tools such as impact wrenches and torque wrenches, with occasional welding, and participate in cross-training for disassembly, machining, and final assembly as needed.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with available overtime. A strong emphasis on safety and quality is noted across a climate-controlled work environment with company-provided

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (~8–10 hours).
• Handheld tool experience or familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prep, inspect and quality-check core units.
• Blasting of parts and hammering of oil pans and tin ware.
• Disassemble head castings and rotate wash tank trays.
• Disassemble/machine components and perform final assembly when required.
• Use of tooling (impacts, torque wrenches; welding may be required).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm; overtime available.
