Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN is seeking a Transmission POD 727 – Sub Assembly team member. The role builds, inspects, and pre-fits internal modules before they are integrated into the main transmission case, supporting a manual assembly line.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime opportunities. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO after 30 days and holidays, plus access to onsite fitness and clinic

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk entire shift (8–10 hours approx).
• Experience using handheld tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, pliers and torque wrench.

Responsibilities

• Builds, inspects, and pre-fits internal modules before integration into the main transmission case.
• Supports the transmission POD 727 – Sub Assembly process on the line.
