Job summary

Jasper Engine Exchange, Inc. is seeking hands-on Gas – Authentic POD workers to clean, prep, inspect and quality check core units. Training is provided and overtime is available.

The role involves using handheld tools, light machining and assembly. A strong safety focus and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. You will work Monday to Friday, with a climate-controlled environment, onsite fitness center, and access to medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Use of handheld tools such as hammers, impacts, torque wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, drills and presses.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prep, inspect and quality check core units.
• Disassemble head castings and rotate wash tank trays.
• Operate tooling including impacts, torque wrenches and presses as required.

Job Description: Gas – Authentic POD 1

Job Overview:

The position requires the ability to clean, prep, inspect and quality core units. Computer skills helpful but not required. Blasting of parts and hammering of oil pans and tin ware. Cross-training opportunities will present themselves within the pod requiring disassembly, machining of components and final assembly. Use of tooling (impacts, torque wrenches and possibly welding) will be required. Press pistons off of rods Disassemble head castings Rotate wash tank trays Steel shot and tumble blocks.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime available.

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as Hammers, impacts, torque wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, drills and presses.
