Job summary

Serrato Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to plan, organize, and implement the Center Disability program in Little Rock, AR. You will work with instructors, administrators, and students to ensure effective accommodations and learning support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with testing practices for students and accommodations.
• Ability to counsel students with disabilities and communicate clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Patience and empathy when assisting students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and implements the Center Disability program.
• Participates in student performance evaluation panels and staff meetings.
• Conducts workshops to assist instructors for classroom remediation.
• Oversee the accommodation process by reviewing files for health or education needs.
• Identify when accommodations are needed and ensure thorough, appropriate processes.
• Set up and maintain accommodation files; monitor effectiveness.
• Provide alternative methods for test administration.
• Meet with new students to discuss the Disability program.
• Ensure the student handbook contains Disability program information.
• Conduct annual staff training and provide student support as needed.
