Career Systems Development Corporation is seeking a Disability Coordinator to plan, implement, and manage the Center's Disability Program, ensuring equal access and success for students with disabilities. You will provide counseling, advocacy, and coordination of services to help students participate in the Job Corps program and achieve educational, vocational, and personal goals.

The role requires collaboration with students, staff, and community agencies to promote an inclusive learning

Competenze

Bachelor's degree required; two years' experience with disabled individuals needed.
Regular attendance and ability to interact effectively with the public are required.
Coordination with agencies and staff to provide accommodations and services is essential.

Mansioni

Participate in initial screening and assessment of applicants with disabilities.
Coordinate housing and accessibility before arrival and ensure supports are in place.
Collaborate with Regional Office and Health and Wellness to review applications and plan services.
Conduct vocational assessments to identify strengths and career goals.
Develop work-based learning opportunities and employment placements for students with disabilities.
Provide individual counseling, guidance, advocacy, and support services.
Coordinate with staff to promote student adjustment and achievement.
