Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and licensing as applicable.
• Six years of claims experience; two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple examiners and technical staff across a wide span of control.
• Monitor workload, provide training, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Provide technical direction on examiner reports and claims adjudication.
• Review management reports and take appropriate actions to improve processes.
• Perform quality reviews to meet audits, contracts, and standards.
• Act as second-level appeal for client/claimant issues and finalize dispositions.
• Review reserve amounts on high-cost claims and those beyond examiner authority.
• Maintain client relationships and provide written summaries on claims as requested.
