Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Six years of claims experience or equivalent
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff across a wide span of control.
• Identifies trends and advises management on actions and process improvements.
• Provides technical direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Compiles and analyzes management reports and takes action as needed.
• Performs quality reviews on claims to ensure audit, quality, and contract standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client issues and manages dispositions of appeals.
• Monitors reserve amounts on high-cost claims and litigated claims.
• Maintains client contact and promotes professional relationships.
