Job summary

YMCA Southcoast in Fall River is seeking a Director of Youth Development to lead the branch's youth, teen, and family programming. You will guide program quality, staff leadership, enrollment growth, and financial performance, aligning with the YMCA mission and community needs.

Responsibilities include strategic program development across school-age care, STEM literacy, and leadership initiatives, while ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and strong partnerships with schools and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Education, Human Services, Recreation, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in youth and program development or related areas.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the branch's youth development portfolio.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve youth programs based on community need and outcomes.
• Oversee school-age and out-of-school-time programming, teen initiatives, camps, and enrichment.
• Develop partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations to expand programming.
