Job summary

Safety National is seeking a regional Claims leader to oversee Workers' Compensation claims from assignment to closure. You will guide Claims Managers and Analysts, evaluate coverage, establish reserves, and coordinate settlements with TPAs and internal partners.

This senior role emphasizes leadership, analytics, and collaboration across departments in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of WC claims experience, strong communication, and proficiency with the MS Office suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• 10+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation claims adjusting with a carrier or TPA.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days weekly in the St. Louis Corporate Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Workers' Compensation claims within the designated region from assignment to closure.
• Guide and develop Claims Managers and Analysts in a leadership capacity.
• Evaluate coverage and exposure, establish reserves, negotiate settlements, and coordinate litigation.
• Provide direction to third-party administrators and collaborate with internal partners.
• Lead desk and settlement reserve audits, conduct performance reviews, and train new handlers.
