Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations Management for its Sacramento, CA distribution center. This executive will own 260,000 sq ft and lead 100-180 staff, driving safety, quality and on-time service while aligning with the business unit strategy.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in automated distribution, and a track record of implementing production plans, lean improvements, and cost controls to support rapid growth. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of leadership in an automated distribution center.
• Experience with technology and automation implementations is a plus.
• Medical distribution and/or e-commerce experience is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certified or experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing team and develop leadership pipelines.
• Lead site safety, quality, cost, and customer experience.
• Develop production plans and standard operating procedures.
• Manage production schedules aligned with demand and inventory goals.
• Own site financial performance including labor and capital expenditures.
• Lead Lean SixSigma initiatives.
• Collaborate with support functions to ensure quality and service.
