Cardinal Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead a 20+ person team in receiving, storing and shipping products, while balancing on-floor work with administrative duties.

You will monitor productivity, enforce safety, coordinate scheduling, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient, cost-aware distribution and accuracy across the DC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages a team of 20+ warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and motivate employees.
• Monitors productivity and holds staff accountable to metrics, providing feedback.
• Adheres to budget guidelines and meets DC objectives while maintaining quality and inventory.
• Drives continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Schedules daily workforce to ensure staffing for picking, restocking and shipping.
