Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Senior Distribution Center Manager in Sacramento, CA to oversee day-to-day DC operations and ensure alignment with site goals. Responsibilities include planning warehouse layout, financial reporting, and production planning for the warehouse, while guiding staff and maintaining stock accuracy.

The position offers a starting rate of $45.67/hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, and a full-time schedule at a Sacramento

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work with multiple management levels.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to manage a large, diverse distribution center team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan warehouse layout considering turnover, size, weight and stored items.
• Manage financial reporting for the warehouse.
• Design and implement production planning for the entire warehouse.
• Advise on care and preservation of items and methods for handling, storing, shipping stock.
• Study records and recommend actions for slow-moving or excess stock.
• Ensure stock records accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Schedule inventories and oversee accuracy checks.
• Trace item histories and resolve discrepancies.
• Determine work procedures, assign duties, and maintain policy conformance.
• Standardize procedures to improve subordinates' efficiency.
• Maintain harmony and resolve grievances; manage 4–12 subordinate managers and 50–100 employees.
• Perform managerial duties: training, planning, directing, evaluating, rewarding, addressing complaints.
