Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 5 years in social services, mental health, or substance abuse.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise managers and staff.
• Passion for mission-driven organization; ability to communicate it to others.
• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Planning, Harm Reduction, Trauma-Informed and Housing First models.
• Familiar with employment resources, entitlement programs, vocational development programs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed case management and crisis intervention for homeless populations.
• Ability to analyze data for planning and reporting.
• Computer and data management literate.
• Strong relationship building and collaboration across stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cultural competency and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Middlesex and Veteran Services programs.
• Directly supervise three managers and one coordinator.
• Deploy and monitor program budgets and resources; provide regular feedback.
• Create a high performing culture; mentor staff and communicate agency vision.
• Establish annual departmental goals and track results with accountability.
• Participate in budget development and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Represent programs on committees and task forces.
• Monitor emerging needs of stakeholders, clients, and employees.
