Workday, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Director of BT Change Enablement and UX to unify change management and user experience, guiding large-scale technology initiatives. You will shape adoption readiness, governance, and the Workmate journey across BT programs, partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders.

You will lead a high-visibility team, drive adoption metrics, and embed human-centered design into the delivery lifecycle, delivering measurable business impact and smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, or user experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven track record leading change management for large-scale enterprise technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and human-centered design methodologies.
• Ability to bridge traditionally separate disciplines into a cohesive, outcomes-driven function.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP).
• Experience with Workday or other major enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with the Workmate experience ecosystem and how it connects to technology adoption.

• Develop and execute communication, training, and readiness plans for large rollouts.
• Define metrics to measure adoption success and UX quality across projects.

• Lead UX research, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to embed user-centered design.
• Mentor a combined team of change management and UX professionals.
• Govern and continuously improve unified methodologies and playbooks.
