Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an experienced Engineering PMO Director for Transmission Lines to lead enterprise-level delivery, governance, and strategic engineering initiatives across a multi-region portfolio.

You'll partner with executive leadership, operations, customers, and operating units to ensure scalable, safe, on-time, and within-budget execution, while shaping workforce strategy and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utility engineering, program mgmt, or high-voltage transmission leadership.
• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering required; MS preferred.
• PE license preferred; technical authority and executive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise leadership for the Transmission Line PMO, aligning strategy with QISG objectives.
• Establish and maintain engineering governance frameworks across the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure policies, risk management, and quality systems are applied consistently.
• Advise executives on engineering strategy, capacity, risk, and performance.
• Oversee a portfolio of transmission line programs ensuring schedule, budget, and safety goals.
• Develop and monitor dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Identify and mitigate technical and resource risks across the portfolio.
• Lead and mentor Engineering Project Managers and senior leaders.
• Define workforce strategy including staffing models and succession planning.
• Set training and professional development frameworks for current and future needs.
• Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and collaboration.
• Align service providers and design partners with corporate standards.
• Support business development with engineering input on pursuits and risk reviews.
• Engage with clients as a trusted engineering advisor.
