Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an experienced Director to lead the Transmission Line Engineering PMO, delivering enterprise-level governance, strategy, and execution across high-voltage projects. You will partner with executive leadership, operations, and clients to ensure technical excellence and value creation.

You will oversee a portfolio of programs, drive dashboards and KPIs, and mentor engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

15+ years in electric utility engineering and program management.
BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited university required; MS preferred.
PE license preferred with ability to act as technical authority.
Proven leadership of large, multidisciplinary engineering orgs.
Deep technical expertise in structural, civil or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise leadership for the Transmission Line PMO; set vision and priorities.
Establish governance frameworks, standards and controls across projects.
Ensure engineering policies and risk management are applied across programs.
Advise executive leadership on strategy, capacity, risk, and performance.
Oversee a portfolio of programs with schedule, budget, quality and safety focus.
Implement portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
Identify and mitigate technical, resourcing and execution risks early.
Integrate engineering, construction, procurement and operations at program level.
Lead and mentor Engineering Project Managers and senior leaders.
Develop staffing, succession planning and capability development.
Establish training and professional development frameworks.
Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing safety and integrity.
Set tone for service providers, consultants and design partners.
Monitor supplier KPIs and contractual compliance; drive quality and innovation.
Support business development with engineering input into pursuits and risk reviews.
Engage in key client engagements as engineering authority.
Ensure scalable, competitive engineering approaches aligned with regulations.
