Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Director of Engineering - Transmission Line to lead the planning, design, and execution of high-voltage transmission and substation projects. Manage a multidisciplinary team, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and align engineering activities with company objectives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utility engineering or management of HV projects
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university
• P.E. license required
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong technical expertise across structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of ANSI, NEC, NESC and related standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers and technical staff
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of transmission and substation projects
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and quality standards are met
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs
• Represent the company at industry forums and regulatory meetings
• Drive innovation and operational excellence in transmission engineering
