Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Director of Engineering - Transmission Line to lead engineering teams delivering high-voltage transmission and substation projects. You will drive safety, quality, and performance while guiding regulatory-compliant designs and innovative solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in electrical engineering with HV project leadership, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and a P.E. license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in electric utility engineering or management for high voltage projects.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited university; advanced degree preferred.
• P.E. license is required.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical expertise across structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering domains.
• In-depth knowledge of utility industry practices, codes, standards, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and professionals.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and resource plans; ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of transmission and substation projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Regulatory Affairs to align initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and cost optimization.
• Represent the company with customers, regulators, and partners.
