Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Director for its Transaction Services group to lead engagement teams, manage client relationships, and coordinate services across the firm.

The ideal candidate has a CPA certification, 12+ years in a large public accounting firm, strong project management and superb interpersonal and communication skills, plus solid presentation abilities.

Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as you help build a new practice within an established firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferred.
• CPA certification required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment.
• Must have the ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
• Previous experience supervising and training staff.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Major engagement management responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm.
• Researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services.
