Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Director for our Transaction Services group. An entrepreneurial spirit and building a new practice within the firm are key. You will lead engagement teams, manage client relationships, coach staff, and coordinate services across the firm.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in a large public accounting environment, CPA status, and strong analytical, PM, and communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience; large public accounting firm preferred.
• CPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license.
• Ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
• Experience supervising and training staff.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required.
• Willing to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction services engagement teams and manage client relationships.
• Coach staff and coordinate services across the firm.
• Research complex accounting issues and perform financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services.
