Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP in Portland, OR seeks a Director for our Transaction Services group to build a new practice within a national firm. You will lead engagement teams, manage client relationships and coordinate services across the firm to deliver high‑quality due diligence and other transaction services.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 12 years in a large public accounting firm, and CPA certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 12 years in a large public accounting firm preferred.
CPA is required; if not CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license on hire.
Ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
Experience supervising and training staff.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation and marketing abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead transaction services engagement teams and manage client relationships.
Coordinate services from other parts of the firm to deliver high‑quality diligence.
Research complex accounting issues and conduct financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
Oversee other transaction related services as needed.
