Baker Tilly is seeking a Director for our Transaction Services group to build a new practice within the firm; entrepreneurial spirit is valued and critical to the success of this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading transaction services engagement teams at a large national professional services firm, with responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff, and coordinating services with other parts of the firm. Travel up to 50% is anticipated.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferred.
• CPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment.
• Ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations.
• Previous experience supervising and training staff.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Directors within Transaction Services will have major engagement management responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm.
• Other responsibilities include researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services.
