Job summary

AEG is seeking a Director Touring to serve as the senior on-road representative for national and international tours, from launch through final settlement. You will oversee financial and operational execution, mentor managers and staff, and implement best practices for consistent touring operations.

The role demands managing settlements, relationships with artist management and venues, and guiding cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient, high-quality tours and guaranteed continuity

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year).
• 6-8 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of accounting and ability to complete accurate show settlements (incl. global exchange rates).
• Experience in touring music business domestically and internationally.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, venues and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of national and international tours, including settlements and revenue reporting.
• Maintain relationships with artist management and venue teams throughout a tour.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Ticketing, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Production, and road touring teams.
• Resolve complex operational, financial, artist-related, and customer service issues during tours.
• Guide managers and touring staff on settlements, artist relations, ticketing, and operations.
• Support onboarding and development of touring personnel and road staff.
