Job summary

AEG is seeking a Director Touring to serve as the senior on-road representative for national and international tours, from launch through final settlement. You will oversee financial and operational execution, mentor managers and staff, and implement best practices for consistent touring operations.

The role demands managing settlements, relationships with artist management and venues, and guiding cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient, high-quality tours and guaranteed continuity

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year).
• 6-8 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of accounting and ability to complete accurate show settlements (incl. global exchange rates).
• Experience in touring music business domestically and internationally.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, venues and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for long periods.

Position Summary

The Director Touring serves as the Touring teams senior representative on the road for national and international touring productions, including arena, stadium, tours. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall financial and operational execution of assigned tours from launch through final settlement. In addition, the Director provides guidance and support to Managers and Senior Managers, personnel and part‑time road staff, and helps identify and implement best practices that improve consistency, efficiency, and execution across the Road Touring team.

Essential Functions

• Oversee the financial management of assigned national and international tours, including artist settlements, venue settlements, expense reconciliation, revenue reporting, foreign currency considerations, contractual settlements, and final tour closeout activities.
• Serve as AEG's senior representative for assigned arena, stadium, and international touring, by maintaining relationships with external artist management, and venue teams, throughout the entire tour.
• Oversee the internal collaboration across Ticketing, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Production, and road touring teams for a successful execution of assigned tours
• Resolve complex operational, financial, artist-related, and customer service issues that arise during a tour to minimize disruptions and maintain tour continuity.
• Provide guidance and support to Managers, Senior Managers, and touring personnel on settlements, artist relations, ticketing, and operational matters by reinforcing established touring practices, procedures, and expectations.
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of touring personnel and part‑time road staff while identifying opportunities to improve processes, share best practices, and drive consistency across touring operations.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year)
• 6-8 years Of related work experience
• Understanding of accounting and ability to complete accurate show settlements (inclusive of working knowledge of global exchange rates)
• Understanding of and experience in touring music business both domestic and international (i.e. has worked on at least one touring project that has extended beyond North America).
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, venues, and co‑workers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self‑motivated and takes initiative
• May require heavy travel for long period of time of the road.

Pay scale: $82,725.11 - $140,856.49

Bonus:

This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
