Job summary

Tucson Electric Power is seeking a Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations in Tucson, AZ to lead compensation, benefits, retirement, and HRIS programs. You will drive enterprise strategy, governance, and analytics to attract and retain talent across the company.

The role partners with Finance, Legal, Payroll and IT to optimize Workday, reporting, and vendor relations while managing a high-performing team in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, finance or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive Total Rewards and HR Operations experience with leadership.
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits, retirement laws and compliance.
• Experience leading HR tech initiatives and system migrations.
• Ability to build teams and manage complex priorities.
• Experience with executive compensation, unionized workforces, or regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise Total Rewards and HR Operations strategy.
• Lead Total Rewards and HR Operations functions with service delivery and improvement.
• Design and optimize compensation, incentives, retirement, health, and executive programs.
• Analyze market, benchmark, analytics, and financial models.
• Oversee union-related compensation and benefits analysis and negotiations support.
• Manage HRIS governance, data management, processes, controls, reporting.
• Lead HR technology roadmap for Workday and related systems.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Payroll, IT and leadership.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for program effectiveness.
• Present Total Rewards strategies to executives and Boards.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and cost optimization.
• Support regulatory filings and audits as required.
