Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Technology Risk to provide independent second-line oversight of technology risks across markets. The role focuses on risk assessment, control design and monitoring, and escalation through governance forums.

You will lead the development of risk reporting, support regulatory examinations, and ensure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in second line of defense roles and risk governance.
• Experience presenting to senior management and governance forums.
• Knowledge of ISO, NIST CSF or other international standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line oversight of technology risks across markets (focus on Europe) and assess risk assessments.
• Review control design and testing results across change management, security, availability, access, and data.
• Develop clear, decision-useful risk reporting for market and Group governance forums.
• Support regulatory examinations and submissions related to technology risk and security controls.
